Project Title: Improving Water Supply in disaster affected remote areas of Developing Countries in a sustainable way: A Pilot Study in Bagamoyo, Tanzania

Project Description: In 2013 Japan International Cooperation Agency hereafter (JICA) introduced small and Medium-sized Enterprise Partnership Promotion Survey on trial basis (Annual Report JICA (2013). Under this framework, a Japanese private company, “Poly-Glu Social Business Co; Ltd” commenced the community based water supply projects in Tanzania. In 2014, the company decided to expand the projects in four rural communities in Tanzania, in cooperation with JICA, the government of Tanzania, and Tanzania water and Environmental Sanitation (TWESA), countrywide... In 2014, the company decided to expand the projects in four rural communities in Tanzania, in cooperation with JICA, the government of Tanzania, and Tanzania water and Environmental Sanitation (TWESA), countrywide local NGO. The company started the installation of water treatment plants in Kisarawe, Kyaka and Bagamoyo, Tanzania in two villages of Matipwili and Fukayosi.
